
Paüls is located in the north-west
of the region the Baix Ebre. The township is surrounded by the mountains
of the Massif del Port, they belong to the Natural Park dels Ports.
The village is at the top of
the gully les Fonts and the houses are spread out at intervals falling
to the hill crowned by the ancient Castle of Paüls, origin gothic,
and the Saint Mary´s parochial church.
Cal Puyo is in Les Voltes street,
nº1, at the entrance of the village in the first square with a good
access for the vehicles.

At the beginning of the to 2008 the restoration of the house had started keeping the remaining walls, building an iron structure and modifying the front in stone (using an ancient method of working with stones)
In Paüls there are lots of
sites to visit, as the Forest of Saint Roc (Natural Protected Area).
The red caves, 2 kilometres from the village by following an itinerary.
There are as well hiking trials, the most recommend is the GR7, from
where you could reach to the Ports and the neighbours villages.
As important things to visit
you will have the choice between the Delta de l’Ebre (40 km), the
caves of Benifallet and the Green Path (10 km).
